Samsung C&T won an order for the reconstruction of Samho Apartment in Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 9th.
The Dogok Samho Reconstruction Association confirmed Samsung C&T as a construction company through a vote of its members at a general meeting of construction companies held on the same day. The construction cost is about 91.5 billion won.
Dogok Samho is an apartment completed in 1984 and is a small complex consisting of 144 households with a single area of 127㎡ in two buildings with 12 floors above ground. Through reconstruction, it will be transformed into 4 buildings with 3 basement floors and 18 ground floors and 308 households (including 48 rental households). Based on the exclusive area, 54 households of ▲45㎡, 101 households of ▲58㎡, 34 households of ▲74㎡, 85 households of ▲84㎡, and 34 households of ▲105㎡ will be supplied. Among them, general sales are expected to be around 100 households. The union has completed approval for management disposition around this fall and aims to relocate and remove it at the end of the year.
Samsung C&T proposed the name of the new apartment to be built after reconstruction as “Raemian Leventus.” The Latin word “reventus” means “return.”
Dogok Samho Apartment is located at the intersection of Gangnam Severance Hospital, so it is expected to build Raemian Town with nearby Raemian Dogok County and Raemian Grayton.
