■ Line 4 extension and GTX-C opening ‘good’
The distribution company highlights favorable traffic conditions as the biggest advantage of the “Hillstate Gwacheon Decentro. The complex will be located in the station area of Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town Station (tentative name) on Subway Line 4, which aims to open in 2025. Even in the secondary complex, which is relatively far from the station, it is about 200m in a straight line. If you use this station, it takes about 15 minutes to Sadang Station, where you can transfer to Line 2, and 30 minutes to Gangnam Station.
In addition, at Gwacheon Government Complex Station, one station away from Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town Station, GTX (Metropolitan Rapid Transit)-C line and Wirye-Gwacheon line are being promoted with the aim of opening in 2027 and 2028, respectively.
It is a clear favorable factor for the subway station on Line 4 to be located in front of the complex. There are different likes and dislikes for the GTX-C route. Gwacheon has excellent access to Gangnam even without GTX, and that is already reflected in housing prices. Even if an additional GTX line is opened, it is much faster to use the existing subway lines 2 and 4 to go to the Gangnam area. This means that there is no reason for Gwacheon residents to use GTX Station, which is 50m underground, while paying high fees.

School districts and living infrastructure may fall short of expectations. Both of the two elementary schools scheduled around the complex are about a 20-minute walk away. Currently, there are no sites for middle and high schools that can be used on foot in the Knowledge Information Town.
If you cross a crosswalk from the complex, you can use the central commercial area, but as it is a new city, it is expected to take a considerable amount of time for shopping malls to enter and commercial districts to mature. As such, you have to bear the inconvenience in the early stages of moving in. Currently, you can use Gwacheon E-Mart and Lotte Department Store Beomgye by car.
Officetels are built in various planes, ranging from one-room to residential. In the case of residential officetels, a four-bay plate-shaped structure was introduced. In the case of the first complex, the Knowledge Information Town Station and the first basement floor will be directly connected.
